(...) I've never seen any 1.5s with a power port. That seems very odd, because that was one of the things LEGO said they changed for the 1.5. The RCXs with a power port only have four studs on the bottom row. Looking at the picture, you can see (...) (19 years ago, 11-Oct-05, to lugnet.robotics)

The confusion is that the nos. 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 properly refers to the RIS sets, viz: #9719 Robotics Invention System 1.0 ((URL) Robotics Invention System 1.5 ((URL) Robotics Invention system 2.0 ((URL) for the RCX (programmable brick) itself, (...) Hi CSSoh, (...) yes, I cut out the wrong lines, I meant the one with AC adapter. (...) Maybe it is also too easy to fry the RCX that way, e.g. by using a transformer with a wrong voltage, and the customer service costs got out of hand. Cheers (...) (19 years ago, 16-Oct-05, to lugnet.robotics)
