How long does a firmware download take with RCXCC and with Mindstorms
software? Please could somebody time it, as I have just got my QBasic
download program working and am about to try to optimise it. I don't
want to waste time trying to optimise something which is already (say)
within 10% of the performance of Mindstorms S/W.

| Yes. Great stuff Dave and Mark ! We built a tracked robot and find the "remote control" utilizing the joystick (version 2.0 of RCXCC) to be just as cool as programming it to run autonomously. I am amazed at how well the IR tower communicates at all (...) (26 years ago, 4-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)
