I too have been helped by John Barnes on several occasions: Once when he
helped me find LEGO rotary switches, and once, a couple of months ago when
he sent me, without charge, two sensors to help with my latest project.
They are the same ones used on the LegWay. Early testing has shown them to
have resolution and range far superior to anything else I have used. I
regret to hear that manufacture has been stopped, perhaps permenantly.
I hope John continues to sit in this forum and that I have a chance,
somehow, to return his favours.
