A straight tri-wheel like that can't climb anything higher than half it's height though.
If you are really after something that'll climb TALL steps, then it has to have something
high up at the front to grab the top of the step with.
Even a Shrimp has that (in essence) because the front part lifts up until it's riding
on the top of the step.
Similarly, a spider-like robot can lift legs up and onto the top of the step - so
(with care) could climb something almost equal to it's own height.

That's gonna depend a lot on what the surface is. If it's wood or tile,
it's not a great solution because there is nothing for the hook to dig into.
I guess it might work on carpet...I think this is a long-shot.
