Have you tried WinZip?
I heard it works quite well with gzip and tar files.

| WinZip is good, but I would try Aladdin Expander or StuffIt. Made for the Mac and the PC -- moreover, its free! You can find it here: (URL) luck, Carl (...) (26 years ago, 23-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)

| Has anyone downloaded Markus Noga's legOS files successfully? I keep getting corrupt gzip files. Using Netscape I've tried right clicking and picking "save as", but still seem to get corrupt files. The file size looks right, but all the versions of (...) (26 years ago, 22-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)
