| | Has anyone downloaded Markus Noga's legOS files successfully? I keep getting corrupt gzip files. Using Netscape I've tried right clicking and picking "save as", but still seem to get corrupt files. The file size looks right, but all the versions of (...) (26 years ago, 22-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)

| | | | I have successfully unziped the file using the gzip that is part of the Cygnus package, but I have been unable to untar the file using the Cygnus TAR utility. I wish it was ziped using the standard Intel PKZIP. I also wish it was 100% usable under (...) (26 years ago, 22-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)

| | | | | Thanks, IE 3.0 also works. It's wierd that Netscape doesn't handle the files correctly. Also related to legOS, I am working using win95 and had a bit of difficulty getting everything working just right, so I thought others might find useful a (...) | | | | The problem is Mindstorm came out for the PC crowd. Not everyone that is buying these systems have UNIX or LINIX . CYGNUS has come out with tools that allow one to compile UNIX code on his/her MSDOS PC. This IMHO is a god-send. The other problem is (...) (26 years ago, 23-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)
