How long is the fiber optic cable in the kit? I am looking for a fiber optic cable that is longer than the one in the RoboSports kit. I find joing two of the latter "cables' together causes too much signal loss. Any suggestions on where to find a (...) (23 years ago, 27-Nov-01, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) No, these are different. The new is thicker (inside of a pin), soft and just cylindric. The older ones are made of a harder material, are thinner for most of their length with just a thick end, and they have ridges that divert some light along (...)
