I agree with what was posted before that you might want to get some
basics in programming first before moving onto mindstorms...
Though ff you want to get started quickly on your bots I´d suggest
NQC which has a *very* good tutorial online somewhere (sorry, lost
my bookmarks... :( ), I think even where you can download it.
As for learning some basics in programming, if you really want to
save your pennies, check the web! There´s billions of online tutorials
into various programming languages, often from teachers for
classes which are quite good. I have a couple of books at home but
really couldn´t recommend any, the online stuff is often as good or
better!

| I just got my first computer ,a laptop actually. now I am saving my pennies for the RIS set. I only knows how to do basic operations w/ computers, but I learning all I can. have been following your e-mails for awhile and understand this is no simple (...) (24 years ago, 8-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics)
