| Try to get the version 2.0 RCX so you will have the eternal power connector. Saves a lot on Batteries. Buy Dave Baums book, "Definitive Guide to Lego MindStorms". Also, Jonathan Knudsen's " The Unofficial Guide to Lego MindStorms Robots" is very (...) (24 years ago, 8-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics)

| I just got my first computer ,a laptop actually. now I am saving my pennies for the RIS set. I only knows how to do basic operations w/ computers, but I learning all I can. have been following your e-mails for awhile and understand this is no simple (...) If the range of both devices is set to `far', IR light reflections may be strong enough to be `seen' by IR receivers. That's true only for short distance however, say (...)
