Usually these circuits are protected against reversed polarity. Does the green light work after the battery was properly installed. Have you succeeded in installing the firmware? Try different settings on the tower switch. Short range and Long (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Hello All, I'm new to all this so please forgive me if I breach any format or protocal. I'm having some trouble with downloading my Mindstrorms 1.0 RCX. Every time I try a message says IR trans. not working. I tried all the suggestions it gave and (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics)
