I am looking for 2 sets of the suspension system off of 8858 mountain rambler I will be willing to pay around $5-15 per set of the suspension system. A photo of this set can be found at ((URL) Also I am looking for 6 1.25 pneumatic cylinders for a (...) (25 years ago, 24-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Also, as I mentioned in another post, legOS had a bug where it would gain or lose total counts sometimes. I don't know if the default fw is susceptable to this but I'm sure I tested it and mentioned it if you search the legOS archives from (...) (25 years ago, 23-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) I made a pendulum based on a rotation sensor with some gearing but it wasn't very responsive. I got bogged down fixing bugs in the legOS rotation sensor code (since losing or adding a count meant seeking permanent TILT instead of level!). For (...) I've built a self-leveling platform using a pendulum and light sensor approach. The response time of the pendulum is not very fast, but the platform does not move very fast either, so it works reasonably well. Details can be found here: (URL) that (...) (25 years ago, 23-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

You can try leJOS at (URL) It only needs a free C compiler and the Java development environment. If you get the Windows version, you do not need the C compiler. I have written a interface for leJOS commands that is available at (URL) It provides an (...) (25 years ago, 22-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I have found a few starts at interfaces to Mindstorms with Java but they seem overly complex. There is a package for Smalltalk that used the sprite.ocx call Bot-Kit that seems much more direct and straight forward. I wonder if there is an equivalent (...) (...) No, I don't think so. (...) You can gear it up, but it seems you don't want to. (...) The older motor (e.g. in space shuttle 8480) turns much faster, but overall it is less efficient than the new one. Jürgen (25 years ago, 22-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Hi, At wat I believe is referred to as "the Mindstorms Mall Tour 2000" I have seen a model which has six of these launchers mounted in a circle. It looks just like a machine gun. For mounting a small 'pulleywheel' was used. The whole construction of (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Is there anyway to increase the speed/rotational velocity of the stock motors that come in the RIS 1.5 kit? Or are there ways to increase the speed or get motors that rotate faster? .nathan. (25 years ago, 22-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)
