We were thinking of using a railroad track. Fortunately we can punch many holes into the ceiling being that it is a gallery space. Our project sounds similar to yours. THe basic idea is a dynamic web-presence for the exhibition going on below the (...) (24 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.robotics)

How about more of a cable car mechanism? It would take a lot less infrastructure. By suspending your robot from the ends of three cables which are anchored in different corners of the room, you could reach more areas of the room. (...) -- ___...___ (...) That is something that we have been thinking about. We are trying to come up with a "poetic" solution where multiple users would have a group control. You know, if the majority wants to go left then it will go left kind of thing. Or we could make a (...) (24 years ago, 4-May-00, to lugnet.robotics)
