  Re: mindscript - subroutines

(...) MindScript is a programming language created by LEGO for use with the earlier generations of programmable bricks such as the RCX, and Spybot. It cannot be used with the NXT. The NXT does not have any text-based programming languages that are (...) (17 years ago, 20-Dec-07, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: recharging NXT battery block with DC adapter?

(...) The reason asking is that sometimes we send teams of students to a country with different voltage in the outlet, i.e. 110V instead of 220V, and the LEGO adapter accepts 220V, but not 110V. However, we have a DC adapter that accepts both 110V (...) (17 years ago, 20-Dec-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  Re: mindscript - subroutines

I'm so new that I don't even know MindScript  My questions... where to get it and its documentation? Is that the only script language for NXT? When I start using some variables and calculations the block structue is becoming hard to read. (...) (17 years ago, 20-Dec-07, to lugnet.robotics)

"reverse parking sensor" type sensor for Mindstorms

  RIS 2.0 software

I just gave my 12 year old daughter a RIS 1.0 (yep, an original one with the 1.0 RCX) set for her birthday. Unfortunately, it looks like the software supplied with the set doesn't seem to work with XP (it seems to install, but doesn't want to run). (...) (17 years ago, 16-Dec-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Re: MacNQC on Intel anyone?

Sorry I have to bring this up again, I think it would be nice to actually have a universal binary version of MacNQC around. Does anybody know somebody who could help with achieving this? I currently have two Intel-based Macs around (plus two old G3, (...) (17 years ago, 18-Dec-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  NXT, Bluetooth, and Palm

Ok, so after 7 years of using my faithful Palm Vx, syncing it to my Kubuntu Linux machine at work put something on it to make it fatally crash every time I ran the calendar. Seeing as this was the most important function of the Palm, I decided it (...) (17 years ago, 18-Dec-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt, lugnet.robotics.palm)

  2.9.4.

By the way, the 2.9.4 patch has a bug which fails to get the feedback from the Ultrasonic sensor. Any suggestion? --Elizabeth (17 years ago, 18-Dec-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

  Colour Sensor

Which command do I use to initialise my Hitechnic colour sensor under NXC on the NXT? Thanks Steve (17 years ago, 18-Dec-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  Re: robolabatceeo/college/tutorials Is not working

(...) It would appear that they should be able to tell you whether the content will be back online eventually. Apparently it's just a separate machine in their pool that may be temporarily offline. Since the site is still actively linked to, my (...) (17 years ago, 17-Dec-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

(URL) not working. This is the go to place for VisionCamera. Being a classic example of deferred content, I was never able to copy it. I need this badly. May someone suggest an alternative? (URL) (17 years ago, 12-Dec-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

Re: Solved Virtual Memory problem! (was: I can't get the RCX 1.5 software to run on WinXP)

(...) Might be a 16bit/32bit problem (or similar 24/32bit), precisely 1GB (coded on 32 bits) could return 0 when truncated to 16 or 24 bits by old software. 3000MB truncated to 16 or 24 bits might be OK. Philo (17 years ago, 10-Dec-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
