  Compiling Classes

I have several large classes in external .h and .cpp files that are added to my project and compiled into the .lx. I found that when I changed the number of calls to a major procedure from 2 down to 1, the final program size went down 20%. Are these (...) (22 years ago, 13-Nov-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Pneumatic Quadraped 242

Hi All, I just snapped some pictures of my latest MOC. It is a pneumatic quadraped that has an advanced walking gait made completely out of lego pneumatics. Instant walking, just add air pressure. Quad242's front left and back right legs are paired (...) (22 years ago, 13-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Motor Power

(...) And then there was a 48 pound lift: (URL) be more realistic, two 9V geared motors powered by 6AA batteries can provide much mechnical power. It all depends on your gearing and set-up, but I have a 10-pound model that rolls along easily powered (...) (22 years ago, 13-Nov-03, to lugnet.robotics)

  how to use LNP class?

Holla, I have been been doing some tests of protocols from lejOS API where I'm about to give a try with this LNP class. The reason is to enable direct host addressing on my app, avoiding the packet_guaranty_issue (as_seen_from_exemple (...) (22 years ago, 13-Nov-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.java)

Re: One Input - Two Outputs?

(...) The key to making this work is to ensure that there is tension at either end of the run that keeps the worm gear at one end of the axle or the other until it hits a hard stop. For example, my robot arm uses rubber bands to hold the gripper (...) (22 years ago, 13-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

Re: One Input - Two Outputs?

Hi! Here's something at Brickshelf that might, or might not, be of help: (URL) pretty compact. Although it feels like a dif. and a couple of ratchets would do the same thing (but not what you're looking for). (22 years ago, 13-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

(...) I wasn't sure where to post this. I want to reply to everyone's replies, but there are quite a few and I don't want to clutter things up, so I'm replying under my original post.... You're welcome! I really appreciate all of the thank-you's - (...) (22 years ago, 13-Nov-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: Motor Power

One of the most import parts of a moco system is how much space the camera needs to cover. They can range from just pan and tilt, commonly called a "hothead" which will either record or playback only rotational data (HPB), all the way up to systems (...)
