RE: BricxCC release 3.3.6.5 - BrickOS support

Steve, Would you be interested in posting some of this code? My new SPybotics book has a companion website, but it's kinda oriented towards kids (the book, that is) The site will have stuff for kids but I'd like to have some examples and support for (...)   BrickOS & Cygwin

I've downloaded and installed test release 09. Once again things worked very well. But there is one definite problem with this release (as well as 08) when running under Cygwin. In Makefile.Common the lines ifdef BUILDING_HOST_UTILS # ---...--- # (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Re: Lego appearson TechTV

Darn, I missed that one. Yes, it is the LegWay. Oh, wait. There was a mix-up with the travel plans, and it was re-scheduled for Dec 20th. I wasn't going to say anything, until I actually went out to film it. Trust me, I'll let you know when it's (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-02, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.starwars)

Re: BricxCC release 3.3.6.5 - BrickOS support

My Spybot can follow a line, and flash pretty lights, thanks to BricxCC & NQC. It was quite easy to do. Next, I'll be turning it into a super-heavyweight sumo bot...   Re: BricxCC release 3.3.6.5 - BrickOS support

I just installed BrickOS using the install docs for windows (via cygwin). Work fine first try. Took a long time tho since I was lazy and install everything in cygwin rather than picking through and only taking what was required for BrickOS. (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Lego appearson TechTV

I was perusing the "The Screen Savers" website ((URL) and came across a reference to a "Lego Segway" in the production notes for 11/15/02. In the actual show's web page, there is no reference to this. Could this be Steve Hassenplug's "Legway"??? - (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-02, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.starwars)

  Orthoglide Movie

I received a link to an Orthoglide site. There is a movie of the Orthoglide machine mockup in action. Very impressive. I wish my Lego version had worked so well. The QuickTime movie is 23Meg.   Re: On LEGO Compressors & Pump Testing

Re: On LEGO Compressors & Pump Testing

This is probably my favorite Lego-related website out there. :) Great article there too; I need to try that pressure test sometime.   Re: Looking for Mindstorms promotional materials.

I'd like to follow up with a quick thank-you... Our presentation went very well. We had about 40 people come to the presentation, and it didn't hurt that we had it the same day, time, and place that First Lego League was in town. Special thanks to (...)   lnpd

Hello, I don't get lnpd to work properly on my sytem. It seems impossible to receive lnp packages. It is no problem to send packages via lnpd to the rcx, but from the rcx to the pc doesn't work.
