| (...) Probably regulatory. Lego want to market this in many countries - and probably don't want to redesign and re-certify it in every market. | I have built a nice rover with two front sensors that just goes around hitting objects and making so its not kicked. | I've found a paper on the notebook case that says 'Amity CN 2 was designed for win 95. If you wish to upgrade to Win 98 you must disable the USB. If you expect you will be using your USB Mitsubishi will upgrade the hardware to activate the USB (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics)

| Jonathon, Here are my "short" answers: 1) Reload your laptop fresh with Windows 98 to solve USB (and other) issues. 2) It is apparently possible to use the IrDA port to control 38~40KHz IR devices (RCX, Scout, TV, VCR, DVD). 3) The darkness issue (...)
