I've found a paper on the notebook case that says 'Amity CN 2 was designed
for win 95. If you wish to upgrade to Win 98 you must disable the USB. If
you expect you will be using your USB Mitsubishi will upgrade the hardware
to activate the USB port.' I don't think that means they will install the
port as it is already in the notebook, maybe they would add some chip. I
live in Argentina so it would be difficult to send the notebook back to US
but maybe it can be solved in other ways. I hope this is enough information.
