I was reading stuff about the Microscout that said it's light sensor would not pick up IR light; however, I decided to try it out for myself. It seems to me that a lot of the discussion lately has been on networking multiple IR (infrared) clients using legOS. Is the IR tower using an ID? This would identify messages from the IR vs an RCX. I get this error - "main() not defined" - when compiling. The code is copied straight from the Ferrari book. While C is the language of my choice, the line of code isn't so obtuse as to hide errors from me. So probably there is some other requisite (...) (23 years ago, 20-May-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

The buttons "1", "2" & "3" send a IR message to the RCX. The RCX must be running a program that will respond to one or more of those messages. The A, B, C buttons will activate the RCX outputs forward or reverse. This requires only the installed (...) (23 years ago, 20-May-02, to lugnet.robotics)
