(...) Then that author is incorrect. There were Lego based jumping robots at several of the Robofests put on here in Austin back in the early half of the 90's. At least one of them was built along the lines of 'Spring Turkey'. They used the old (...) (23 years ago, 13-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics)

You're right, I didn't realise it wasn't very clear. What you do is you connect the positive wire from your power supply to pin 1* of the 7809. Then connect the ground of the RCX and the power supply to pin 2. Connect pin 3 to the positive battery (...) (23 years ago, 13-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics)
