Hi This is probably of no interest to anyone else but... When I bought my Mindstorms (for US$15 in a charity shop) it was missing the IR Tower. I'd allotted myself an hour to build a Tower but I suspect the IR components I was using were the wrong (...) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics)

BricksWest will host the first ever BRICKHEAP WARS event. This is a competition loosely based on Junk Yard Wars. This particular episode will be a LEGO Mindstorms competition. You might also want to check out the landing gear for the 8480 Space Shuttle (my all-time favorite set, BTW :) on Lugnet. It uses shafts and cogs to move the landing gear, but when the landing gear is extended the weight is borne by the frame of the (...) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics)

I've just uploaded a new release of BricxCC. Version 3.3.3.7 completes the implementation of the configurable Tools feature. Transfer item parameter macros are now functional. (...) Oh, that's easy. Just check out your local electronics store. I don't know if there is a Fry's Electronics in your area, but they have them. Radio Shack?
