I think I found the key to my previous success at getting VCS to run on W2K/XP. This is the good news - The bad news is you need to get a copy of RIS 2.0 and run the VCS update utility on the RIS CD. I don't know if this update is available from (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jan-02, to lugnet.robotics.vc)

When I try to install Vision Command under windows 2000 I get an errormessage that windows 2000/NT is not supported.
