Kill / reset / power switch for RCX

I manage to semi-regularly crash LegOS (usually thanks to wandering pointers) to the point where a firmware reload is required and the reset button combination doesn't respond. I just got my copy today, and I'm thankful for the upcoming holidays; reading the book, learning from it and trying out the ideas will be taking up most of my free time from now until January. I used relays from FINDER (Series 55 if i remember right), (...) (24 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)
