I was trying to figure out where these came from... I think that they are also
used as jars in one of the duplo sets... (hard to tell from the pictures). They
are numbered 33008, so they are pretty new, but I wonder if they've been used
anywhere else?

I think that's where they originate from, but they could be a Fabuland piece (I think I see one in the tiny picture of 4178 Mickey's Fishing Adventure - which isn't out yet). Frank p.s. Karim, (...)
