That's something I wondered... How come they decided that White was the primary
color of the X-wing, when it's really more of an off-white/gray in the movies?
White looks a little bit too "clean"... but its not really a gripe, just
curious. After all, in the minifig version, they decided it was gray.  I kind
of liked the odd mismatch of colors in the nose/fuselage, but was a bit upset
when the back of the ship suddenly became all white.

the one who is $160.00 in the red.  But I really love my UCS Tie...

Question... does the UCS TIE use stickers also?  The biggest factor in my not
having it yet is that I'm concerned about the canopy piece in that set... Is
that printed or sticker?

(...) Oh, and another question about the UCS TIE Interceptor... In the hand-out catalog, the ship details are gray (as I think they are on the box). In the S@H catalog, they are Blue! I think the whole color issue is pretty difficult to deal with in the case of the UCS X-wing. The mini-fig X-wing is easy enough to accept in light grey, but I think a UCS X-wing in all light grey would not look very authentic. I think TLG should (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.starwars)
