Um, that's just what javascript is - client-side script. A script
that runs on the client, i.e. browser. I think you mean to say
server-side scripting (e.g. CGI).
Not that there's anything wrong with Javascript.
One thing you might consider is writing some code you run on your home
PC to generate static HTML pages. That cuts down on your maintenance
effort, and still avoids the incompatibility issues of Javascript.
