Consult a local Intellectual Property Lawyer. Laws vary from place to place and you need professional advice and counsel. Kevin, Maersk is the largest shipping company around, I believe. It is family owned, based in Denmark, and the only Dutch company bigger than Lego. A couple of people have already given some good legal advice (like Kevin Loch). But when it comes down to it, they're not going to risk huge court expense and bad pr by actually doing anything about it. I would give them a nice friendly "screw you" (...) The area of trademark law is a bit fluffy (short on hard and fast rules). Wow! Thanks for that pointer. That was interesting indeed. So in your considered opinion, when Lego requests that Lego not appear in domain names of fannish sites, are they harboring a valid concern?
