  Re: Shell stuff, at Brickfest

I don't know who got the signs or where they came from, but I did manage to get my own sign and flag from the station in Mebane, NC. I've contacted Shell for a complete list of participating stations, which the woman in charge of promotions was (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.promo)

Re: Coca Cola Promo in Japan

What a great time to be in Japan on business! My luggage is already full with Kabaya sets for me, I'll guess I have to squeeze in some more space for little polybags. Unfortunately, it appears to me that you can't tell which set you are getting (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jul-01, to lugnet.promo)

Re: Have any Shell sets shown up in Arizona yet?

Bob, you can try calling Shell's customer service (I got the 800 number off the web page) and asking what stations in the area are handling the promotion. Fewer stations opted to sign up this time because Shell didn't have advertising in the budget. (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jul-01, to lugnet.promo)

Re: What I really want as the next "classic"

(...) I do not know any further sets, bat that's no proof :-) 1831 was released in 1995. If you follow the chronology of the sets, there might have been another in the year 1990 maybe...(?) Getting "Maersk-complete" might be very difficult. Jan (23 years ago, 12-Jul-01, to lugnet.promo)
