Re: Velux House is now available online

(...) It's a better deal than the $55 plus shipping you'd pay for one on the secondary market. And I don't think it's that bad, really... I mean, what would the price point for this set be if it were a LEGO town set? Probably at least $19.99 (US). (...) (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.promo)

Re: Shell Ferrari $15 if you have a Charge card!! but....

(...) I think it has more to do with the fact that the set is a promo. As in Shell is using the sets to promote their gas stations. They are using new sets each week or so to draw people into their gas stations to buy Shell gasoline. They want us to (...) (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.promo, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Velux House is now available online

(...) Excellent! Of course, those filthy liars said they would let me know when they were available... then again, that was several months ago. I wonder how long this has been in place... I've seen several VELUX houses pop up for sale on BrickBay (...) (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.promo, lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Velux House is now available online

(...) First I assume you are talking about the blue 1x2x2 classic windows. I really hope people wern't buying them for $10 a pop. If I thought I could get that much I would have been buying up all the Dacta 9291's they had at TCS. (URL) set has 4 of (...) (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.promo, lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Shell Ferrari $15 if you have a Charge card!! but....

The reason that they arent allowed to sell the larger sets yet would be this: they only have a limited supply of the larger sets and once thats gone they cant just call up lego or shell and get more AFAIK. So they dont want to start selling them now (...) (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.promo, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Shell Ferrari $15 if you have a Charge card!! but....

(...) It's not *that* strange: after all, the entire thong bikini industry is built on the same premise... If they're going to be storing them in the window, I guess that "MISFB" (Mint In Sun-Faded Box) will soon be entering the ebay lexicon.   Re: What do they mean? (VELUX House)

(...) I think what Kevin is asking is why on earth do you have to be an adult(or major in your locality) to buy a Lego set? (in this case a Lego Velux house). (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.promo)

Re: What do they mean? (VELUX House)

(...) Or at least the age of majority in the buyer's country (which is probably why they didn't state an age). I saw no requirement to have any prior or future buisiness with Velux (and I did read through the TOS). (...) I see nothing wrong with (...) (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.promo)
