Forget what I said about May, the LEGO promotion officially started today in the US, April 8th! Keep your eyes out. Southern California is the first market were they were spotted on the RTL. The small sets are $1.19 each and require a minimum $10 (...) (24 years ago, 9-Apr-00, to lugnet.promo) !

I was able to get some info from someone at the SHELL station near me. There will be 13 sets, the 13 seen in the original Euro promotion. They will be availble to all SHELL stations across the US (including Puerto Rico) and some other areas (the (...) (24 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.promo)

Check out this auction: (URL) look closely at the packaging. It has a piece count! Only US sets have piece counts. Look even closer at the (C) date. "1998, 2000." which means the set is rerealsed for 2000. We all know that the Shell sets are (...) (24 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.promo) !

One of our Irish LEGO friends (Shaun Sullivan) has found a new Promotional set on a recent trip to Ireland on 4/1/00. The set is 4100-Guinness Delivery Truck. The egg top almost fits a 2X10 plate. It is slightly too large, so the fit is very loose. It definitly does not fit like the old radar dishes. There are DUPLO studs on the top of the 'top' and on the inside of the 'bottom', and DUPLO 'holes' in the (...)
