I won’t hold my breath... :-D

But take solace in the fact that the French were much better in the Crimea than the British, what with those ironclad batteries and all!

Oh, and in that American Revolution, they did force the surrender at Yorktown... they just don’t often get their just credit for it!

Other than that... um... Aboukir. Oh wait, no. Cape St. Vincent? No... Glorious First of June... ack. This isn’t easy!

But we’d be fools to associate the elites at Port Brique with such lack-luster showings –– after all, it’s the innovative thinkers and the most capable leaders who always end up on the edges of Imperial maps.

Except in Indo-China.
