  Re: BSB, Pirate landscape

(...) Hi William, I have an island in progress that you might enjoy seeing! I used a lot of BURPS in building it, but I also used a bunch of bricks. I think it looks like it was made with just bricks as I tried to disguise the BURPS with regular (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jul-02, to lugnet.pirates)

  Port Brique!

Too long have the waters of the South Pacific been dominated by empires with no sense of style, and dodgy food. Too long have the waters of the South Pacific been dominated by the oppressive redcoats and greencoats. At last there is a settlement in (...)   Re: BSB, Pirate landscape

Hi William, I'm working on an Imperial coastal fortress at the moment, so when I finish you can see what techniques I've used. I've used BURPs, but they are disguised enough that I think they are unobtrusive. Mine isn't really an island, but it is (...) (22 years ago, 19-Jul-02, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: My pathetic FOTW

Well, if you guys are interested in buying them, I guess I'll sell off a bunch of them. I checked Bricklink and the average price for a new 6247 Bounty Boat is $13.75 (the range is $12.50-$15.00).   BSB, Pirate landscape

Since the now planned re-release of the BSB, I have decided to build a pirate island. But, I have no idea how to make a large pirate island(by this I mean a none-CRAPP one-an island made of bricks). Is there any site to which i could go that has (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jul-02, to lugnet.pirates)

(...) Maybe I can be interested in buying a large lot of part #2551 "Boat Row Boat 5 x 14 x 2", so I myself can model the pontoon bridge MOC I suggested a few days ago in this newsgroup. (See: (URL) ) I'm thinking of 30 pieces, so I can make 15 (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jul-02, to lugnet.pirates)

I'm off to see the wizard.... I'm, on the verge of leaving to catch my flight (probably a little early, but I'd always rather be early than late). I am bringing (and it's amazing all of this fits into one large box, one large duffel, and my carry-on (...)
