  Red Beard Runner in stores!?!?
 
Hi all, I was in a Toys R Us (Culver City, Los Angeles area) this evening and saw a set of 6290, Red Beard Runner! I couldn't find the price as it wasn't on the box. Anyway, I had thought that these rereleased pirate (and western, too, for that (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.pirates)

I think the Classic sets are available in the shops but not the Legends sets. I'm not sure why. I know I have seen Imperial Flagships and that Islander base at TRUs. cheers Magnus (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.pirates)

(...) The Redbeard Runner ($99.95), Armada Flagship ($49.95), and the big Islander set ($69.95) have all been available at TRU, at least in SoCal. (...) All three Classic Pirates Sets were re-introduced to stores in Australia the second half of last year (and at half the S@H price - that's what got me back into pirates!) Also, do the re-introduced western sets count as 'classics'? Does that (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.western)
