Just a question, but how big are some of the pirate fleets out there? And is there anybody in the Washington DC area that wargames with ships ( Evil Stevie's pirate game? )? I'm up to about 30 some odd craft with 7 or so Schooner size or above. I (...) (23 years ago, 4-Nov-01, to lugnet.pirates)

No-- sadly I wasn't able to attend BrickFest. I've been lurking in the shadows for a few years now, but most of that time was spent overseas in Japan. While an excellent opportunity to build my collection, it was a bit of a drawback in terms of (...) (23 years ago, 4-Nov-01, to lugnet.pirates)

I would be up for coming down to play, I drive down to DC area like once a month or more anyway... I haven't seen my own collection for a couple months now though :( i moved out of the house where it is... at last count i was up to something like 2 (...) (23 years ago, 5-Nov-01, to lugnet.pirates)

(...) Turns still took too long to process. The time to battle it out is also significant (perhaps for the campaign game, two shots should be taken per turn?). Going to port took too long. Running NPC ships took too long A 2nd GM would help a lot. (...) (23 years ago, 5-Nov-01, to lugnet.pirates)

(...) probably too large. The largest ship the game deals with would be a 16-wide with 4 center sections (one more than the BSB or SES). With the campaign game playing we've been doing at Brickfest, we've got no where close to using the bigger (...) (23 years ago, 10-Nov-01, to lugnet.pirates)
