  Re: Tall, elegant ladies

(...) I think they need more high heels. Other than that they have their "charm". Tim (20 years ago, 30-Jun-06, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

  Tall, elegant ladies

It all started when a (straight) builder picked up the Terence Stamp head and made the suggestion. (URL) It quickly spiraled out of control from there. With little more than a play bin full of bricks to choose from, we had quickly cobbled together (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jun-06, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

  Brickfest?

I don't know if folks are planning anything for Brickfest, like a build in the blacklight room, or a meetup, or a photo, but I had a thought (just one). How about a purple stripe on the name badge? I remember seeing it once last Brickfest--as the (...) (21 years ago, 2-Aug-05, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Buffy's Willow & Tara (kinda sorta)

Hey there, Forgot to post this after I finished it a while back (was waiting for permission from the fanfic author, then it slipped my mind after she gave me the green light). Here are a couple of custom-custom minifigs I put together in connection (...) (21 years ago, 24-Jul-05, to lugnet.people.lgbt)

Re: Dark Room @ Brickfest is still on

(...) I'm in for the DJ... the problem is going to be finding places to put enough neon in... er... did I say put neon in? Into the model I mean. (21 years ago, 3-Jun-05, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Dark Room @ Brickfest is still on

(...) How about [LDrawPart 3614:14] tied around the neck of a minifig by a bit of string or a thin round rubber band? (...) I'll do a bit of dance floor, maybe a rope line with unfashionable/unpopular minifigs. Any takers on dj, or maybe a bit of (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jun-05, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Dark Room @ Brickfest is still on

(...) Glow sticks seem no problem but any thoughts on minifig scale pacifiers? I think a rave multi vignette might be quite cool, maybe one person does the DJ booth and another one some dancers??? (21 years ago, 3-Jun-05, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Dark Room @ Brickfest is still on

(...) Oh, Steve you little raver, you. Break out the glow sticks and pacifiers! I won't be able to make brickfest this year, but maybe I'll send a raver scene... [LDrawPart 3004:373] -Teddy (21 years ago, 3-Jun-05, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Gazebos for my wedding cake...

(...) That's great, nice work. My wife and I had a Robin Hood theamed wedding 13 years back, and we used the 6077 Forestmen's River Fortress as a cake top. (URL) I think that LEGO work well for a caketop, and a sense of fun. Mat (21 years ago, 2-Jun-05, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Gazebos for my wedding cake...

(...) Hi Saskia, Yes, it's official! The wedding went smoothly (whew!), and the cake topper was very well received! The kids at the reception were particularly interested in it... I'll share a picture of it with the cake when I get one. Thanks! Rich (21 years ago, 31-May-05, to lugnet.people.lgbt)

Re: Gazebos for my wedding cake...

(...) Hi Raymond, Thanks for the encouragement! Yes, I created the mustache-goatee-vandykes. I drew them on regular smiling LEGO heads using a Sharpie. (Sharpies are permanent markers that draw on most surfaces. Many poeple use them to label CDs.) (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.people.lgbt)

Re: Gazebos for my wedding cake...

(...) Congratulations and best of luck! BTW, are the Vandyke heads modified? I actually finally shaved mine off, but during the years I had it I was always disappointed that I couldn't find a good mustache-goatee combo. The best I found was the (...)
