          Re: Lugnet Roll-call —Ray Sanders
Dunno. Divers just seems to be a well thought out and implemented series. And oddly enough, I only like the true 'Divers' sets, not the various '*nauts'. Probably doesn't hurt that I live near various fresh and salt water dive spots :) The one set I (...) (25 years ago, 22-Sep-99, to lugnet.people)

Divers (was: Lugnet Roll-call) —Steve Bliss
(...) Really? I love Divers, but I was disappointed by the set designs. Not that the models were bad, they were very good. There was too much repetition between the sets. Too many nearly-identical submersibles. Too many SPUD[1] rafts. Almost every (...) (25 years ago, 23-Sep-99, to lugnet.people, lugnet.town)

Re: Divers (was: Lugnet Roll-call) —Steve Bliss
[lugnet.people snipped from ng list] (...) Good point. The lack of detail is doubly-disappointing, because the boats are the biggest point of variation between the sets.[1] In a way, they are the reason to get *all* the Divers sets. Is the ship in (...)            Re: Divers (was: Lugnet Roll-call) —Jeff Stembel
(...) Yup. It is slightly longer than the Atlantis from Launch 'N Load Seaport. I'm glad I got three extra copies of 6560. That is a great set! Jeff P.S. I don't know how big the USS Constellation is, so I'm not including it. (25 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.town)

Re: Divers (was: Lugnet Roll-call) —Steve Bliss
(...) I have a note which says the 6560 Diving Expedition Explorer ship is 45x10. I'm not sure how accurate that note is--I may have been estimating that day.           Re: Divers (was: Lugnet Roll-call) —Matthew Teets
(...) I find the best way to "use" the sets is to combine them with the pirate theme (whice I don't have much of) in sort of a "sunken ship" diorama. This enhances the fun of the set a lot. I don't actually understand why this didn't occur more to (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jan-00, to lugnet.people, lugnet.town)

Re: Divers (was: Lugnet Roll-call) —Steve Bliss
(...) Hmm. I wonder if LEGO thought about making a combo-pack of something like 6558 Shark Cage Cove and 6250 Cross Bone Clipper.
