  Re: Missing LUGNET membership packet?

(...) Mine just arrived ... yayyyyyy! Now I can fix all the stupid typos on my profile (and make new ones...) - Mike, #158 :-) (27 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.people)

Death of a LUGNET Membership Card

Once upon a time, Tim received his LUGNET member packet. It was a nice packet, and Tim liked it a lot. Tim used his bookmarks, stickered his minifig and his ldraw.org name badge, and put his nifty membership card in his wallet. The state of his (...) (27 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.people)

  Re: Missing LUGNET membership packet?

(...) Hi Todd :-) can I have member number 222 by any chance, please please, beg, beg..? (you will probably be up to around there by the time you get my money) It would be cool if it is possible, as 2 is my lucky number :-) My check is on it's (...) (27 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.people)

Re: I didn't get my memebership pack yet

(...) Sorry about the long address..:-) Actually, by my experience from 30+ trades from US, airmail takes 5-15 days, including clearance from customs (non document only packages go to the customs first), and ground shipment takes 1-2.5 months. Most (...) (27 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.people)

Re: Really Good Fruit For Sale (terribly off topic)

(...) Hey Tim your right, that is quite off topic.. fruity if you want to go that far. I would contribute, but: 1 I'm tight on $$ as it is (funny how I bought all of ozzy's cds today?) 2 plus you cant ship to CA, and my box is a "p.o" 3 I hate (...)   Really Good Fruit For Sale (terribly off topic)

Well, I don't exactly know where to put this - its not exactly 'fun' but its off-topic so... I'm selling some Oranges and Grapefruits to defray the cost of my senior end-of-year trip to Colorado in June. Its possible to have them shipped to the (...)   Re: I didn't get my memebership pack yet

(...) Well, basically, yes -- but not quite. A packet is created and sent after someone becomes a member, but the act per se of becoming a member doesn't occur until someone's fee[1] is received. (...) Yup, that's right. Since a person does not (...) (27 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.people)

Re: I didn't get my memebership pack yet

(...) Hmmm, that's no good. :-( Yours would have been sent sometime around the first week of December (and you're marked as already having paid). Ever had airmail from U.S. to Turkey take longer than 8 weeks? I made sure that all 7 lines of your (...) (27 years ago, 2-Feb-00, to lugnet.people)

Re: I didn't get my memebership pack yet

Selçuk, I got my very cool membership pack about two weeks after Todd got my first payment. I think he does send them after he gets $10 from the member. I don't think he put my name up on the members' board until he got the payment either. He (...) (27 years ago, 1-Feb-00, to lugnet.people)

I didn't get my memebership pack yet

Hi Todd, I did't get my memebership package yet. Actually I didn't send you the fee yet, too, but since being one of the proud first ten, I thought that you sent the package. Could you pleas inform ? Selçuk (27 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.people)

Re: If Lego made new Town sets... what should they be?

(...) I went to BAS (Beaches Alternative School) for a while, it was 3 classrooms, from JK to 10, and I believe there were less than 30 of us there (2 grade 10 students) But, if you note, IPS is a _public_ school, and in the heart of Toronto. The (...) (27 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.people)

Re: If Lego made new Town sets... what should they be?

Well, if we're into smallest school mode... my daughter's school is 130 kids K-10. It's part of the public school system but it's an alternative school (non-coercive and parent participation.) Kevin (27 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.people, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: If Lego made new Town sets... what should they be?

(...) Wow, that's small. My elementary school (K-5) had ~400, my middle school (6-8) had ~600, and my high school has ~2400 (~500 in my class...I expect that the graduation ceremony will last forever :/ ) --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com (...)   Re: If Lego made new Town sets... what should they be?

(...) My high school is 300 kids. There are only about 75 kids in my grade, but the campus is so big that today I just found this kid was in my grade that I never knew. There are also middle and lower schools, and in total, around 650 kids. (27 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.people, lugnet.off-topic.fun)
