    Re: Age average —Richard Franks
(...) I was bodding around fibblesnork the other day, and came across the survey, part one, question 9 "How old are you now?" Out of 1692 responses (!) 39% are in the 10-14 range! 10-19 = 55% 20-29 = 27% You can see for yourself at: (URL) first link (...) (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.people)

        Re: Age average —Steve Martin
Actually, I've kind of had the opinion that the AFOL community might take itself a little to seriously sometimes. That is, "surely the only serious lego modelers are adults". Based on these statistics and comments, I think that the JrFOL are doing (...) (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.people)

I will start bringing my camera along when I visit my cousins (often to play with LEGO), (...) (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.people)

(...) Hear, hear! We also can't get to the toy store very easily :) (Although my only excuse for that is that even if I did have a driver's license, my mom wouldn't let me use the car :( --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com (...) (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.people)

(...) Bet away. And since you admit you have a good paying job, you can send some of that extra money my way so I don't have to suffer :) I do agree with Bram, the trouble with being a JrFOL is that 1. most don't have the income that would help to (...)           Re: Age average —Shiri Dori
(...) So sad, so true. Lucky for me, I started working for my dad, I did a really big project for him and got more than $1000. But that can run out really fast when buying LEGO...      Yeah, I´m 14 and if I had a job, then you would see the biggest lego town you´ve ever seen! I´d buy mindstorms and multiple copies of minifig packs, buy sets, sort out the parts I wanted and then throw away the rest. But I don´t have a job, so I (...)         Re: Age average —Tobias Möller
Yeah but I think that kids around 10 years of age search WWW for lego, they find lugnet, and doesn´t like the disscussion forum ("Text? How boring!") but they do the lego survey, because they think it´s fun. Remember, lego is a toy for children so (...) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.people)

        Re: Age average —Richard Franks
(...) Yep - definately! It will be interesting in a few weeks or months when the demographics from the memberships start coming through.
