(...) Hey guys! Do you know what I like? LEGOs. Do you like LEGOs? I like LEGOs. Want to be friends? We can talk about LEGOs. LEGOs are cool. I built a spaceship and a house. Dear random people I don't know: This is not frontpage news. Why is it on my lugnet frontpage? I don't care about your useless bickering, I care about things like MOCs and important announcements. I don't believe your schoolyard squabbles fall into (...) (18 years ago, 20-Jun-06, to lugnet.people.support) !!

Re: Official Notice from MechaHub to Eric Sophie

Posting a private message publically without permission is rude and uncouth. You would be howling if I posted some of the things you've said to me. If I were more suspicious I'd say you're trawling for sympathy. As it is, I'm merely peeved. Soren (18 years ago, 19-Jun-06, to lugnet.people.support) !!

  Another one who's new here

Hello everyone, I've been reading these newsgroups for a while, and now decided to request a posting permit. Before my dark age, I used to build lots of models with LEGO, now, I love to build models for LDraw :-) Concerning the latter, I put some (...) (19 years ago, 1-May-06, to lugnet.people.newbie)

Re: Do You Sort on Vacation?

Doh! I wish you would have told me then! Odds are they just pitched the tubs, and I could have packed at least some of them in my car. The new tubs suck, as the lids don't clip on very securely, and the studs sticking up take up a bit too much space (...) (19 years ago, 20-Apr-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.people, lugnet.storage)

(...) <sigh> I remember when the GMLTC displayed at the Kidvention in LLC way back in '99. I bought 40 tubs from the BIG store.   Re: Do You Sort on Vacation?

I usually have to sort Lego that I've bought while in Orlando just so I can fit it in the car ;-) Though since Bley, the amount of Lego compared to other things bought on vacation pales to the past. (...) No, I would have the trays they are to be sorted into with me. Gahd but I'm so sick of sorting. I've devoted scores of hours just trying to sort out about 27 gallons.   Re: Do You Sort on Vacation?

I'm often forced to sort just to compact the Lego even further than just pulling bags out of tubs/boxes, but that's Lego bought on the vacations. Though since the Bley change, I don't buy anywhere near as much. Now I usually have to compact it to (...) (19 years ago, 14-Apr-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.people, lugnet.storage)
