Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together?

(...) Yeah, the marriage thing. In response to you and Steve: we could do Massachusetts, Belgium and Canada and... is there any place else? Massachusetts was uppermost in my mind as I'm a native of Amherst, Mass. (hometown of Emily Dickinson) but (...) (20 years ago, 27-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

(...) Todd, As much as I wish you luck on your search - can you explain why this does not belong in off-topic? I draw your attention to the group charter of off-topic: "Off-topic (non-LEGO®) discussions" - this is what your post was, non-LEGO® (...) (...) Uh Massachusetts, is this in reference to the whole marriage thing? I'm a Canuck and I used to follow American politics but then it got surreal. Angela (20 years ago, 25-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.lgbt, FTX)

Re: Why I kept my age a secret

(...) When I joined Lugnet, I was around 13 too. And now I'm 15. At first, I just joined as the little immature kid I was, posting a bad rendering into .trains and then posting crummy webcam pics into .castle (oddly enough, after a month I've never (...)   Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together?

(...) Hey! I'm quite happy living here in Massachusetts. Of course, I'd love to send our governor back to Utah. And get contracts that respect our public employees. And fund them.   Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together?

(...) Fabulous idea! I could take a stab at the purple mountains of the Berkshires if I get a few cups of magenta from Pick-a-Brick and add a whole lot of gray.   Re: Is lgbt going to build a moc together?

Re: Why I kept my age a secret

(...) Cool! I wish more teens realized they CAN participate in the adult world if they only try. Sure, it's cool to be a teen with your friends most of the time, but it's also cool to be an adult. I had a similarly empowering experience as a teen. I (...) (20 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.teens)

Re: Why I kept my age a secret

When critiquing I try to do a few things, most importantly provide encouragment, for some people its a big thing to present their new MOC to the world. I try to gauge the level of the builder (which isn't really an age thing) from the tone of their (...)   Re: Why I kept my age a secret

(...) I reckon you're pretty fair with your critiques, Paul. But you're right, they can be difficult, mainly because one is always unsure how they will be taken. Here's what I reckon: If you want your work critiqued, ask for it, even to the point of (...) (20 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.teens, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Why I kept my age a secret

(...) Critiquing is tough. I've been giving ad-hoc critiques of almost everything for years and I still haven't got the hang of it... in fact, I often get the feeling that it has worked against my favour. I don't think I'd recommend it. Then again, (...) (20 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.people.teens, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, FTX)
