| A few part mods for the brave: I decided that buying 32x32 baseplates and cutting them in two was cheaper than buying twice as many 16x32 baseplates. The question is how to make a reliable straight cut. I've used 4x8 plates for rigidity and slider (...) | A few keen-eyed Brickshelf followers might have noticed my latest parts mod, cutting up the 1x4 black and yellow striped tiles in order to make the chevron patterns for loco ends. Well, just in case you are serious: Nothing for the airpacks, but I was fortunate - my first couple of space sets had torso stickers rather than printing, so I just peeled the stickers off and - hey presto - plain torsos!! | Way back in 1979, I was worried about the possible replacement of the Legoland town stuff that I loved with the newcomer, Legoland Space.
