| (...) Thanks, Ben! Coming from you that means a lot! (...) I would also be interested in other people's results/trials. I suppose in a perfect world we could laser scan the parts, but... I don't know how far we in parts.custom want to venture into (...) (22 years ago, 27-Aug-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.parts.custom, FTX)

The problem with using them to make LEGO-compatible parts is that these liquid resin plastics (like Alumilite, Micro-Mark, etc) are meant to be (...) (22 years ago, 26-Aug-04, to lugnet.parts.custom)

| (...) Yeah, that's the rub. Service bureaus have been around for a long time, and this isn't the first one that's been Internet based. There are places that will actually make injection molds for you over the net. It all comes down to how badly you (...) (22 years ago, 26-Aug-04, to lugnet.parts.custom, FTX)

Jason had a pointed top arch part he had designed a while ago that he shared images of with our club... it was one of the parts that got realised and shown at SIGGRAPH and at BrickLink.
