Here's an update on my parts experiments. I've added quite a few Technic parts: (URL) expansion link (URL) , based on a 1x3 thin liftarm, allows an axle or peg to slide in the 1x2 slotted hole. Very useful for steam engines: (URL) (It would go (...) (19 years ago, 2-Feb-07, to lugnet.parts.mod, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.parts.custom, lugnet.technic)

First, I should mention that I know LEGO train fans are often quite electronically-savvy and have developed their own lighting kits in some cases. I am hoping to reach (...) (...) Actually a typical bridge rectifier will drop ~1.4 volts in the supply. That's alot! About a 16% drop in voltage, and a 29% drop in overall power at the top end. I'm not sure what effect this would have on the control circuitry. Mat (20 years ago, 27-Sep-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.parts.custom, lugnet.parts.mod, FTX)

 | | Part Mods - Baseplates and Technic parts

A few part mods for the brave: I decided that buying 32x32 baseplates and cutting them in two was cheaper than buying twice as many 16x32 baseplates. The question is how to make a reliable straight cut. I've used 4x8 plates for rigidity and slider (...)
