A few part mods for the brave: I decided that buying 32x32 baseplates and cutting them in two was cheaper than buying twice as many 16x32 baseplates. The question is how to make a reliable straight cut. I've used 4x8 plates for rigidity and slider (...) My first track mod was the now fairly common point with a 2-curve side-branch. I'd always wanted to do the opposite - to move the track over with just curves. That is, to move over 16 studs as if going through one of those crossovers, but just using curve/straight/parallelogram sections? All your examples include points, but my best (...) I've been known to cut a brick or plate to get a needed smaller version, I.E. a 1x1 brick in dark orange, and making custom 9v train track. My first mod was drilling holes to wire up (...) (...) You probably dont' even need jumper plates, as the 1x3 roof bricks can just be placed at 1/2 stuf offset on standard placed studs. ROSCO (20 years ago, 7-Mar-06, to lugnet.parts.custom, FTX)
