First off, thanks for the greeting.

Most welcome.

Secondly, is there anyone who lives in or around Dallas who is going?
Furthermore, is there anyone in Dallas who is part of TEXLug?

Got that, folks? AFOLs in the DALLAS area please make yourselves known!! I
am not sure, but I thought the original creator of the TEXLUG name lived in
the DFW area. TJ, can you help us out??

If it is possible I will try to find a way to the next meeting. I love Space
its actually predominantly what I build. But not Classic as that was almost
before my time. However, some classic sets are good and others would be nice
to cannibalize. From the pics I have seen from the last meeting, I want to
go even more. Just curious, but how many pieces on average do all you have?

Woah. Impossible to calculate for me. Half my gear in storage. As for
Classic Space, I was twelve when the first sets appeared in 1979, so it is
definitely my "thing". In any event, I like the classic combo of gray/blue
and a little yellow and black. Never quite got into the newer stuff (1986
and beyond) due to the proliferation of white and green elements, plus at
that time I was being discouraged from playing with LEGO altogether.

I believe you will find a way to get to the meeting if you really want to
go. Have you considered a Greyhound bus ticket? I know someone can arrange
to pick you up at the station in Houston. Plus perhaps you can double up
with someone in a motel or hotel room Saturday night. Anyway, you have until
March.

Well, Pat, the problem with greyhound is that how would I get my creations there? I do not like the idea of putting my MOCs in a suitcase because some would not fit too easily and it breaks my heart to see them in pieces. However, thank you for the (...)
