Re: January 2007 SMART meeting notes

(...) I did some testing with encouraging results and programmed the robot to respond to sound this morning. My testing indicated that even if the sound was straight ahead, one sensor gave a higher raw signal then the other so I came up with a (...) (18 years ago, 1-Feb-07, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

  NXT for $200

Inspired by the gentleman selling NXTs for $200 (I didn't have a checkbook with me or I probably would have got one), I did some searching on the web (I think I used Froogle) and found them for $199.99 from A Child's Delight, a toy store in (...) (18 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Re: January 2007 SMART meeting notes

(...) Thank you. (...) This robot was just finished before the meeting so the ears went on but I never got a chance to program them. The idea is just as you describe and I did try use the View feature to see how directional the sound sensor is. My (...) (18 years ago, 30-Jan-07, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Coin Sorter: 8 votes Inverted Pendulum: 3 votes Walker: 11 votes Sorry, I should have posted something sooner. But if you have a coin (...) (18 years ago, 24-Jan-07, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

(...) Perhaps I'm way off base, but I thought the next challenge was a coin sorter. I haven't built anything so I've just missed out on some thinking time if I try to build something. -Craig (18 years ago, 24-Jan-07, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

  NXT for sale

I just saw this post from someone in Oregon, and I thought of SMART. Maybe someone can help relieve this guy of his NXT... ---...--- Yo, For sale in the Milwaukie, Oregon area: Lego Mindstorms NXP Bought it, used it once, decided it was not the (...)   Re: January SMART meeting

(...) Okay, I've got confirmation of the date. January 27th from 2 to 5pm, at Digipen as usual. Sorry for the delay, but at least it's our usual time and place. Looking forward to seeing everyone there, and especially looking forward to seeing some (...) (18 years ago, 18-Jan-07, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

  January SMART meeting

I'm sorry that I still haven't been able to confirm a date for the January meeting, I'll post a message as soon as I have a time and location. In the mean time, the mini-challenge is to build a walking robot that can change its direction (not just (...) (18 years ago, 14-Jan-07, to lugnet.org.us.smart)
