Announcing the Seattle Mindstorms and Robotic Techies

After the November 6th "Workshop 3D LEGO RCX Challenge" in Seattle, Gus Jansson and I decided it was time to start a LEGO Robot specific group in this area. Well, it's about a month later, and we're through talking, time for some action! So this is (...) (...) Space parts? Naw, I just needed the four black 'tap' pieces off the Y-wing to use on my barrels of ale at my Pirate base. Not to mention the two gray flaps on the Snowspeeder as cannon-hole covers. Sheesh, some people >:*) Sean (24 years ago, 22-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.us.sealug, lugnet.loc.us.wa)

Tony, This is pretty ingenious! I really like how the train moving the lever makes the button on the battery box get pressed. :-) A neat mechanical solution. -Andy Lynch In lugnet.trains, Tony Hafner writes: <snip> (...)   Perpetual Duplo Motion

Heh- sorry about the wide distribution, but this fits into a lot of categories. I have a new creation up on my site, a device for defeating the timer on the Duplo battery trains. This uses Duplo Trains, Technic, and a critical Znap part. I call it (...)   Spotted at TRU Bellevue

Hey all, Nothing too exciting to report, but I did pick up the Tie/Y-wing/Snowspeeder bundle and Bellevue TRU last night ($35). They also had the UCS and some other sets on sale already.   Re: NEED HELP - MOVING to SEALUG AREA

Hi Daniel. I live in Everett, about two miles from the Everett Plant. I also have worked at the Everett Plant, but I got transferred to the Renton Plant about a year ago, so I've been commuting 80 miles a day. Yuck! Anyway, I've lived in the Everett (...)
