Re: A brief state of NELUG message.

(...) Hey, what a coincidence -- we got together with Eric Joslin a couple of weeks ago too, only we playtested a few pints of Guinness. :) I'd be happy to cast a vote for a meeting at the Caribou Moose place in Waltham again (or whatever it's (...)   Re: A brief state of NELUG message.

Here's the update: Eric Joslin and I got together a couple of weeks ago and playtested the rules ... carnage photos were taken, developed, and are awaiting me to get off my duff and scan them. Between the two of us, we think this is going to be (...) (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

A brief state of NELUG message.

I realize things have been a little slow on the NELUG front lately so I thought I would give an update. First off for those that don't know my wife and I have recently found out that we are expecting our first baby so that is part of my excuse for (...) (...) Well in fear of this being another "Me Too" post here goes. I agree with all that has been said here but I thought I would add some NELUG perspective. (...) I would have to agree. Plus I would have to add some of the sculpting done by Eric (...) (25 years ago, 5-Mar-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.org.us, lugnet.org.us.wamalug, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: Pics from the weekend!

Well now the ideas seem to be flowing... :-) (...) I think they have a ton of them. I doubt we have to worry about running out of them. (...) I like this a lot. With your layout we don't waste a lot of space with the Battle/Army. The only concern I (...) (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: Pics from the weekend!

(...) That might work-- I wonder how many cubes they have to support it.... (...) That's actually something I was thinking of last night-- perhaps something like: This area is kinda "outside" the city, but away from battle ___...___ | | | Raised bit (...) (...) Yup that's him. Just our little bit of sillyness in this setup. It seems to be becoming a bit of tradition for us to add something silly or odd to our setups. (...) Thanks!!! (...) Yes I will be experiancing the entire TLC product range. (...) Wow 1" thick cardboard. Sounds kind of neat and it sounds like it might to the trick to keep things level. (...) (...) <snip> If it's war, then it looks like Evil Timmy will be the first to die. Isn't that him, standing right between the two armies, wielding an ax? :) Thanks, Elliot Hyde (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Pics from the weekend!

(...) Wow, Really?! Congrats. :-) (Eric's LEGO time goes down, but his PRIMO time goes up) ;-) (...) yes, maybe something like you suggest would work. If you have no table saw, or other way to cut plywood, I have used 1" thick corragated cardboard. (...) (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  More TCS Dry Run Pictures

Hey all, Just thought you might want to see some more pictures from the NELUG Castle display Dry run. Dave Eaton posted the first pics and there is a link on this page.   Re: Pics from the weekend!

(...) That is quite all right I am trying to attend to most meetings I can and build as much as I can because in another 6 to 7 months my LEGO time is going to diminish greatly (another cleverly disguised hint). I will have more pictures up tonight (...) (25 years ago, 28-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: First NELUG Jambalaya Box (Mini-Fig's)

(...) I think for now this will be something we do at meetings but like I said if meetings get going in other locations then the box could travel to those locations as well.   First NELUG Jambalaya Box (Mini-Fig's)

Well I thought I would start up our first Jambalaya box (hopefully it won't be the last). This is going to be a Mini-fig box.
