Re: How about another general NELUG meeting...

(...) Well I don't know how many people would be comming (always seems to be more than we expect :) but if either Matthew (The all powerful Linux guru) or Paul could set up the conference room for us around the same time as usual at least I would (...)   Entire NELUG site works with OR without Java/Java Script.

Hey all, FYI In all my tinkering around lately I discovered that if you disabled Java Script on your web browser the NELUG site looked horrendous. I guess the tool I have been using was inserting some Java Script for the page formating. Now that I (...) (24 years ago, 23-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: How about another general NELUG meeting...

(...) You make some good arguments but I agree with Matthew in that I think we should have a bit of variety in where we meet. I would suggest BU for this meeting just because we have a good setup there and we havn't done it in a while. The 31st (...) (24 years ago, 23-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: How about another general NELUG meeting...

(...) I don't mind it sometimes (gives a good excuse to stop in at TCS), but it's kind of a pain for me. The commuter rail is pretty direct, but it doesn't run very often, and of course it does cost a few bucks. (24 years ago, 22-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: How about another general NELUG meeting...

(...) Well, speaking purely for myself, I'm going to be out of town over this coming weekend (Friday through Monday), but maybe the Wednesday after that (the 31st)? How does that strike people? As for location, we all know I love Bison County, and (...) (24 years ago, 22-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: How about another general NELUG meeting...

(...) After a day of Airport Hell on friday I am back for at least the next 2 weeks and hopefully longer. I am pretty open as to a date and time. We could even do 2. Those of us doing the Castle display at TCS have to take it down either next (...) (24 years ago, 22-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

How about another general NELUG meeting...

Just wondering if there was interest for another general NELUG meeting. We havn't had one for a while because we have had a lot of themed meetings lately. I should be around for the next couple of weeks anyway. I would suggest either BU or Bison (...) (24 years ago, 18-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  TSC Castle Display Breakdown

I talked with Crispin recently and talked to him about the breakdown of the window display. Crispin would like to keep the display up through the end of the month and we talked about 2 options. 1. Tuesday May 30 - TCS is open till 8pm so we could do (...) (24 years ago, 16-May-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: May-June 2000 Mania Magazine

(...) Well, yes and no. Right now, kinda frustrated. It's definitely way exciting to hear this news, but it's also somewhat disenchanting. That is, it's a bit of a jolt to learn of this appearance through the grapevine rather than from TLC directly. (...)   NELUG Button available, Web Site news section reformated.

OK I know I have been making a lot of changes lately. Bet you can't tell most of my LEGO is in the TCS window display :-). Anyway I have been having fun being creative with the NELUG site as well as the new LUGNET Map pages. First of all I have come (...)   Re: TCS Castle Window Display

Okay, I misread Jeff Johnston's message, and, since I had just been trying to find the set that those black castle doors came from, I immediately assumed those (...)
