(...) Only if a group wants to participate. (...) Not that I know of :( NELUG was invited to the train show in Wilmington initially for the Dec. 2000 show, and since we've done that show in April 2001 and Dec 2001.   Greenberg Train Shows (RI)

Hi, There is a Greenberg Train show this weekend(1/5 & 1/6) at the RI Convention Center in Providence, RI. Since I'm not familiar with how these shows are run I have a couple of questions I hope someone doesn't mind answering: 1) Do these shows (...)   Re: Meeting, Monday 12/17 ?

Well, unfortunately, I won't be able to attend tonight's meeting after all. With my daughter's gymnastic class and my wife out shopping, it's come down to the dreaded "My Turn" [1]. I know it's a real blow to the NELUG community, but you'll have to (...) (23 years ago, 17-Dec-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: Meeting, Monday 12/17 ?

Well, I keep forgetting to mention it to my wife to see if I might be able to make it; we are leaving to go to Los Angeles for two weeks on that Thursday though, so it may just not work out for me. That might be for the better anyway though, as I (...) (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Gungan Solicitation 12/17 ...

Hi all, Some of you may be familiar with a certain hush-hush project I'm working on. Many of you who have heard mention of it have also volunteered the use of your Gungans to me. As I am just about ready to make use of them, I was hoping that (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: new train layout

I actually did this just after the show but havn't had time to put it up. I did a couple of layouts. Both of these need some work. Both are also at the largest size (6 additional tables) that we discussed but could be downsized fairly easily. The (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: new train layout

I made some changes to my layout. (URL) new plan has a 2x8 space for Tom. But I couldn't quite make a continuous 2x7 for eric, but it's close. Yes, if I move my factory you would have a 2x7, but I'm going to be selfish. :-p To address Shaun's (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Meeting, Monday 12/17 ?

General consensus seems that a meeting on the 17th sounds okay? So far Joe, Eric, myself, and Matt Miller have all expressed that the 17th works. How about the rest of you folks? Next order of business: Bison County or Franca's? Wow, so this is (...) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  new train layout

There was mention of adding 3-7 tables to the current train layout during the show. This got my mind thinking and I came up with this new design.
