Well, unfortunately, I won't be able to attend tonight's meeting after all.
With my daughter's gymnastic class and my wife out shopping, it's come down
to the dreaded "My Turn" [1].

I know it's a real blow to the NELUG community, but you'll have to go on
without me (although I can't imagine how ;) )

Maybe next time.

[1] Now, it might look like I don't want to spend an hour in a small
gymnasium watching 8-10 year olds learning to do running, jumping, balancing
and whatnot, but you'd be wrong. However, because 8-10 year olds are *very*
self-conscious when mommy or daddy is in the room, they force parents to sit
in a tiny, closed off, cubical area, where they cannot be seen by their
children. This "corral" forces parents to talk to each other, whether you
like it or not. Personally, I'd rather chew my own leg out of bear trap, but
when it's Your Turn, it's Your Turn...

Pray for me...

Well, I keep forgetting to mention it to my wife to see if I might be
able to make it; we are leaving to go to Los Angeles for two weeks on
that Thursday though, so it may just not work out for me.  That might
be for the better anyway though, as I would again have no MOC to
bring (absolutely no Lego play in the last 4 months, other than that
with my daughter [which is Duplo only]; how tragic!), and as some of you
pointed out when I showed up at the train show, I've not yet provided
any proof that I actually build things with Lego...  Maybe I should
spend the few hours that I would have come hang out with you, and lock
myself in a sound-proof room, and build, build, build!  Anyway, I'll
let you all know if there's some way that I can make it to the meeting,
otherwise I'll see you all in the new year.

I know how much that means to everyone.

Anyway, it depends on my daughter's gymnastics class.
I might even have a couple of MOCs to bring.

Oh the unending joy... :P

General consensus seems that a meeting on the 17th sounds okay?  So far Joe,
Eric, myself, and Matt Miller have all expressed that the 17th works.  How
about the rest of you folks?

Next order of business: Bison County or Franca's?  Wow, so this is what it
feels like to have choices ...

(somebody's giddy for having gotten some 2k+2 sets during lunch :P )
